The Session is part of the exhibition A Common Dialect.
This Session will take place as The Elementary Session in a workperiod on the spot from July 3 to July 24.
In the role of this issue’s ‘editor in chief ‘ i have asked the rest of the regular Session group ( Tomas Adolfs, Staffan Björk, Orpheu de Jong, Matthias Kreutzer,Kalle Mattson, Jens Schildt, Monica Tormell ) + six guest-contributors to create or reveal their personal archives. The personal archives or collections put together lead to a collective collection that will be the key elements to create new works with on the spot on the top floor of Marres.
The Elementary Session guests are Paulien Barbas, Paul Gangloff, Marjolein Houbaer, Robin Vanbesien, Rutger Emmelkamp , en Abe Rechterschot.
A Common Dialect is curated by Femke Dekker.
Rietveld Uncut 2010
Tomas Adolfs and Tarja Szaraniec have created a concept, Rietveld Uncut, for the Gerrit Rietveld Academy.
In 2010 Rietveld Uncut will take place for the second time.
Rietveld Uncut 2010 is made together with all departments of the academy, Maze de Boer, Ann Meskens and Vlaams Cultuurhuis de Brakke Grond.
